Jesus often taught through parables—simple, familiar stories that carried deep, sometimes surprising truth. These short narratives were more than illustrations; they were invitations to see God, ourselves, and the world in new ways.

In this new study, Pastor Andrew will take a deep and unhurried look at the parables of Jesus. We’ll begin by exploring what parables are, why Jesus used them, and how they continue to speak to us today. Our primary focus will be on the parables found in the Gospel of Matthew, paying close attention to how Matthew shapes and emphasizes these teachings. Along the way, we’ll compare how the same parables appear in other Gospels and explore those that are unique to each one.

Our goal is not speed or completion, but depth—faithful listening, thoughtful conversation, and curiosity. We don’t yet know how long this journey will take, and that feels exactly right. Rather than rushing ahead, we’ll allow space for reflection and discovery as the pieces come together.

Everyone is welcome. Whether you’ve studied Scripture for years or are simply curious, we invite you to come, listen, and explore together.

If you are interested or have any questions please feel free to contact Pastor Andrew.
